


ABOUT US
As part of the Royal Navy family, His Majesty's Royal Marines Cadets enjoy all the exciting amphibious activities you can imagine, as well as branching off into serious land-based adventure training too. Specialising in Weapons Handling, Field Craft, Military Map Reading, Orienteering, and Seamanship is what makes the Royal Marines Cadets unique among youth organisations... You can join us from the age of 13 up to 18.

Based at TS Ganges, a three deck training establishment situated in Cheddars Lane, Cambridge - adjacent to Tesco on Newmarket Road, we parade on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 19:00 to 21:30

Life as a Royal Marines Cadet
As a Marine Cadet, you will experience a great deal of frequent opportunities to do things you would find it difficult to do anywhere else. During regular land-based training you will learn the skills of Orienteering; Fieldcraft; Weapons Handling; Radio Communications; Camouflage & Concealment; Trekking; Parade Drill... Never ordinary!

You will also have many chances to get afloat both inshore, Dinghy Sailing; Rowing; Kayaking, and offshore; Sailing and Cruising on voyages in one of our fleet of tall ships and yachts. What more could you ask? Click here to find out!
